Job Description	A vacancy exists for a Maintenance Artisan who will be responsible for Electrical, Mechanical and Civil maintenance and repair of Agriculture related machinery and equipment at our COBB SA facility in East London
Minimum Requirements	Electrical or Millwright Trade Certificate Drivers licence Wireman’s License (Optional)Supervisory/leadership skills Knowledge and application of disciplinary processes Administrative knowledge Boiler making Mechanical Plumbing 5 years’ experience in mechanical and civil related
Duties & Responsibilities	Mechanical; Civil; Electrical: Inspection of machinery and equipment as per supplier requirements set out in the maintenance manuals Planning of work according to the preventative schedule and plan per breakdowns. Maintenance and repair of all Agriculture related machinery and equipment in accordance to the maintenance plan and schedule Repair of Agriculture related machinery and equipment per breakdowns daily. Render assistance and training to handyman on faults that cannot be solved on their level of required competence Daily inspection of all work completed at Agriculture including residential buildings and issuing of certificate of compliance. Ability to detect pending breakdowns on all hatchery related machinery and equipment to prevent loss and down timeGeneral: Training and development of maintenance handyman under direct control to artisan level Discipline of maintenance handyman under direct control Daily issuing of certificate of compliance on any machine or equipment where any engineering related work was executed Issue daily job cards and inspect work executed Daily time sheets Order equipment and spares in terms of the BR and SSR Process Training and development of all personnel under direct control as per departmental training and development plan Perform standby duties
